The National Park Service lists participants in the Sharpsburg parade including war veterans Red Men of Sharpsburg and Boonsboro Nem Der and Sharpsburg school children. New Parking Meters Set for West Franklin Street

Frederick May 24 Maryland District of Columbia Federation of Labor approved a minimum wage law for the state and a revision of the unemployment compensation law. Court Refuses To Intervene In Labor Board Orders
The Supreme Court on May 24 declined to interfere with National Labor Board orders directing reinstatement of striking workers at Remington Rand Inc Carlisle Lumber Co Alaska and Black Diamond Steamship Co New York. The Board had ordered about 4000 employees restored to work in the Remington Rand case from March 13 1937, and circuit courts of appeals had upheld the Board in all three cases.
