Charles B. Humelsine of this city was chosen secretary of the Maryland State Council at the 41st annual convention closing session held yesterday at Hotel Alexander. Baltimore’s John A. Flanigan was re elected State Deputy and Monsignor Harry A. Quinn was re elected State Chaplain. About 200 attended.

LATROBE Pa May 22 An airplane crashed shortly after leaving the airport near Latrobe killing two men identified by State Police as Cecil E K Davis 27 the pilot and Andrew Sivak 27 a passenger There were no others aboard. The plane took off from the airport then dived nose first and struck the ground in a fatal crash.

Reports received last evening of telephone calls about a plane over the city were explained by Henson Flying Service indicating a passenger plane operated from Tocal airport. Over fifty passengers rode last night in trips over the city. the craft took off and landed at the municipal airport on the Middleburg pike with Will Dick Henson piloting.
