Washington County Field Day Draws 2000 Participants
About 2000 Washington County school children will join the annual Field Day at City Park on Thursday. Entries in events are up by 200 from last year, with more in badge contests. Last year 1500 students participated. Field Day is not a school holiday, and rural one room schools may still hold classes if only one pupil attends.
