Fatal crash ends Echlotterbeck life in Washington County
No inquest planned. Robert Echlotterbeck, 40, died at Washington County Hospital three hours after a crash that left him with a skull fracture and multiple injuries. His wife Gertrude and infant son Robert Lee Jr were injured. The five ton truck crashed into their vehicle, sending it into a telegraph pole. witnesses described a chain slackening on descent.
