Annapolis May 15 The Maryland Legislative Council will reorganize after the resignations of its chairman and vice chairman. Speaker Thomas E. Conlon plans to resign May 19 and summon the council before leaving. Senate President Arthur H. Brice also resigned to return to the Public Service Commission, leaving the council with vacancies and a race for the chairman and vice chairman that could shape 1945 leadership. New Assessment Plant Not To Start In This County Until January 1st
Montgomery County will form a permanent Board of Assessors under a new continuous assessment law, starting operations by January 1, 1944.
