Musicians Provide Big Program During Music Week
Hagerstown recital night featured professional musicians led by Roy A. McMichie and Walter A. Westphal at the Y. M. C. A. gym. Performances included Franck and Beethoven piano works, Chopin numbers, and a varied vocal and instrumental lineup. Missing Charles Mell due to bereavement, the program showcased Miss Catherine Trauth, Miss Barbara Nichols, Dorothy Irwin, and others, with a children’s afternoon and several follow up recitals scheduled for today.
