Band Concert Draws Crowd in Hagerstown
The Municipal Band concert featured Peter Buys’s new piece Eventide dedicated to his son George H Buys. Howard Gaines soloed Puritans Fantasia with pianist Walter Westphal, as the program included Lurline Overture and Finlandia. The afternoon showcased the Hagerstown Orchestra and Band School with numerous solos and duets, highlighting young talents and professional performers alike.
