The Kaylor Construction Company filed a $50,000 damage suit in Baltimore Superior Court against the State Roads Commission. Through attorneys R Palmer Ingram Emil T Mallet and W P Wachter the firm says the commission ordered extra work on a triple span bridge over Antietam Creek near Hagerstown during relocation of part of the National Highway.

Jury Recesses In Probe Of Accident
A coroner's jury adjourned without identifying the Pennsylvania driver who struck and killed Archibald Barnes 54 of Funkstown. The jury viewed the body, led by foreman Major W. Lee Elgin, then was discharged by Acting Coroner John D. Dunn. Barnes died after being hit near his Funkstown home on April 16. Deputy Lainterleanogle said the driver would be named over the weekend.

Anesto, sought on charges from a Jonathan Street still explosion and fire over a year ago, was reported under arrest in Steelton Pennsylvania last night. Sheriff officers will likely return the prisoner to Hagerstown today. Steelton police noted burn scars on the prisoner, supporting the claim he was burned fleeing the blaze.
