Spanish aviators Ignacio Timinez and Francisco Iglesias landed their plane the Jesus Del Gran Poder at Bahia Brazil completing a 4000 mile South Atlantic flight. They fell about 800 miles short of the existing record held by Ferrarin and Del Prete. Jimenez fatigue fever prompted medical care and a two day stay in Bahia before departing.
