Indictment of Judge Manton TS in high court corruption case

Former US Circuit Court of Appeals chief judge Manton TS was indicted by a federal grand jury on a conspiracy charge involving large sums of money. The case names George M. Spector as a co defendant. Justice Pilgrim Faces Judge Humphreys in Salisbury

Salisbury Missouri March 3 Justice of the Peace V Frank Pilgrim is to sit in judgment over a man who jailed him last December. Judge Marion A Humphreys of the People's party urged to appear on charges of disorderly conduct and assault filed by Salisbury Times employee and deputy sheriff Clarence T Morris. A watch found yesterday is being held at police headquarters for proper identification.

Police Association To Meet Here June 7

The Maryland Police Association unanimously accepted an invitation to meet in Hagerstown on June 7. Capt. Carl H. McCleary extended the invitation at the Annapolis meeting on Wednesday. About 300 law enforcement officers are expected at the sessions here.
