He described his leadership roles at Central Trust and Potomac Edison, noted a 1929 wealth estimate of 1.5 million dollars, and explained arrangements with Hambleton and Company to trade assets for stock in Central Trust. Military Honors Accorded Student Telfair at Naval Academy
Midshipman John Hamilton Telfair Jr died of pneumonia at the Naval Hospital. He was a Third Class member at the Academy and was buried with full military honors in the Naval cemetery as classmates marched in the funeral. His parents, Dr. and Mrs. John H. Telfair Sr., of New York City, attended both the death and funeral services.

Junior Chamber Backs Orchestra at Hagers Town
At the third general meeting of the Junior Chamber of Commerce held last evening at The Club the group voted to back the Symphony Orchestra of Hagerstown by furnishing members for special work. Members volunteered for various capacities to aid the orchestra. The chamber also voted to apply for affiliation with the National Junior Chamber of Commerce.
