More than three hundred guests from Winchester Berryville Chambersburg Emmitsburg Brunswick Carlisle and nearby communities toured the Manbeck Baking Company plant on Church street and attended a banquet at the State Armory on North Potomac Street. Officials and employees demonstrated bread making while Mr C C Latus of Pittsburgh led the program as toastmaster and Mr C Walter Baker spoke of the bakerys success in five months of operation. Ned Ridenours orchestra provided music for dancing after the program.
