Potomac Frosts Due This Month Foretold by Brown
Washington June 20 Herbert Janvrin Brown a long distance weather forecaster who correctly predicted violent weather in 1927 now foresees a harsh year ahead including an early winter killing frosts more tornadoes and West Indian hurricanes. He warns of heavy frosts from June 28 to July 2 followed by very dangerous frosts to July 11 over corn belt areas and the Ohio and Potomac rivers. He says 1927 may bring the worst corn crop on record and the smallest apple crop in years with a memorably cold dry year overall and a brief heat spike in July and August.
