Reservoir Work Is Completed On West End Basin

Building Of Exposition Grounds At Fairgrounds Begins June 20
Plans to develop the expo sitio at the Fairgrounds for the National Antietam Com memoration were announced by Jack Geller, general director of the pageant On Wings of Time. Work starts June 20 and will be completed in two months. The grounds will be transformed into a fairyland with landscaping, German village on the midway, and a railroad spur from Western Maryland Railroad. Ground will be graded for the spur to serve exhibitions by four railroads entering Hagerstown. The William Galloway train will depart Hollywood July 1 and travel to Hagerstown for the pageant, with other historic trains to be shown in the 1930 episodes.
