Public offering for wartime memorial auditorium and monument
In a letter to the editor the writer argues for both an auditorium and a monument to honor 250,000 young lives lost in war. He recounts a past Pennsylvania case where court injunctions blocked building and notes community divisions. The piece stresses separate purposes: living memorials for an auditorium and solemn monuments for the dead.
