Kiwanis Show Door Prize Draw Draws Large Crowd
A door prize of twenty five dollars in gold and other gifts were offered at the Kiwanis Business Show tonight. The winner must be present in the building at 8:30 o clock. A record crowd was anticipated as attendance surged past 1400 yesterday with more expected tonight. Local acts included Charleston demonstrations by Dick Kemper and the Dae war Castinins, while Joe Miles and the Gateway Inn Orchestra provided music for dancing. The luncheon featured exhibitor prepared foods and a talk by Dr. Wilburta Daltroff on child hygiene and charity funds for underprivileged children. Numerous prize winners and donated items were announced throughout the evening.
