Record crowd boosts Kiwanis Show in Charlestown
A crowded Kiwanis Show drew a large audience with more than 2,000 attendees from Lancaster York Martinsburg Winchester Cumberland Frederick and Carlisle. Officials Frank Bennett and Park W. J. Loy led the event as vendors offered prizes souvenirs a weight booth and savings promotions while volunteers showcased dances and old time music.
