Local heir to claim fortune in split Emerich estate
Stover Emerich Kreps of 1225 Virginia avenues plans to file claims in Philadelphia and New York courts for his family’s share of the $500 million Emerich estate. The will of John Nichols Emerich, found in southern Illinois, is to be probated in Philadelphia on April 15. The suit in New York’s federal court involves hundreds of heirs and large volumes of paperwork.
