The Primus was an excursion ship from Buatsude with Eilbeck society members aboard. The vessel sank after a premature turn near Blankenese as witnesses said. Some passengers reached the Hansa or were saved by its boats. captains surrendered. The Primus, built in England in 1844, had never before had an accident.
