Six Killed In Car Collision Near Washington PA
A light sedan collided with an eastbound bus near Washington Pennsylvania at 1:50 am killing six people including three children from two Wellsburg families. Victims are Fred Wendt and his wife ages 35 with daughter Joan four and an eight month old, Albert Bailey Sr 55 and son Jimmy 14, folded in. injuries to Mrs Bailey 538 and Albert Bailey Jr 16. Joseph Wendt 4 was injured but expected to recover. The bus passengers were unhurt. Police say the Wendt car ran a stop sign, struck the bus and plunged down a ten foot embankment hitting the Henry Lacock home porch.
