Miss Miller Weds Brooks Fiske at Le Guna Beach

The wedding of Alice Rendh Miller and Brooks Fiske took place June 29 at 6:00 PM at the Gans summer home in Le Guna Beach California. The ceremony was conducted by a Presbyterian minister from Scripps College where the bride studied. After a reception for about fifty guests the couple planned a honeymoon in Honolulu and will reside in Huntington Park California.

Visiting Parents of Navy Lieutenant and Family

Church Circles Prepare July Meetings At City Park

Elks Picnic Set for Sunday at Brewer's Farm

Ha gerstown Lodge of Elks plans an all day outing on Sunday July 9 at Brewer's farm along the Conococheague near Kemps Mill. The method uses six rinses starting with very warm water then lukewarm. A quart of vinegar is poured over the hair to counteract alkali and add softness and gloss. The fifth rinse follows with vinegar and the sixth rinse removes it after a soapless oil shampoo.

Joint Grange Picnic Planned At Y M C A Meeting

Arrangements were made Monday night at the Y M C A for a joint picnic of Leitersburg Potomac Valley and Mt View Granges. Louise Taber national master of the Grange from Ohio may speak. The Rowe's Park event will feature games band music and speeches with another committee meeting Friday evening.
