Concert Tonight Boosts Floyd Sherman Benefit at St John’s
A large advance sale is reported for the Floyd Sherman benefit concert at St John’s Lutheran Auditorium tonight under the Chamber of Commerce. Sherman will be assisted by his mother and instructors Prof C H Roderick Prof Rey A McMichael and Miss Doris Nigh. He leaves July 15 for New York to study under Mrs A A Parker and will sing in St Mark’s Episcopal Church choir. Local clubs urged attendance to support the promising young tenor.
