Mother and Child Rescued in Fire at Dayhart Building
A blaze on the upper floors of a Dayhart owned building drove the Brechili and Sprow families to safety in night clothes. John Sprow freed a baby and helped the mother reach the porch before flames engulfed the apartments. The mother and child were hospitalized. the child is burned but not severely. The structure and contents were largely destroyed.
