A fire gutted the upper floors of the Cresheim home known as the care house, residence of Charles A. Weagley and Roy C. F. Weagley at Beaver Creek. Firefighters from Funkstown Boonsburg and Western Enterprise prevented spread, drew water from a cistern, and were alerted by Mrs. Charles Weagley who found the blaze while driving to inspect pigs. Damage includes a washing machine and farm tools. total loss undetermined.
