Navy V-5 aviation tests set at Hagerstown High School
The Navy seeks applicants for the V-5 Naval Aviation program. Preliminary physicals and mental tests will be held at Hagerstown High School on Friday and Saturday, January 21 and 22. Seven year old Norma Jean Goetz of Fairplay was injured about 9 am when struck by an auto driven by Martha FE Martin of Fairplay Route 1. Deputy Leister Isanogle said the driver was traveling from Spielman Station to Fairplay and the child darted into the road. She had minor cuts and bruises. John C. Kipe of Waynesboro Route 3 posted 12.45 collateral for a January 25 hearing on a separate charge of parking without lights after an accident on the Middleburg pike near the municipal airport.
