County Jury Plans Probe of Lynching
Princess Anne Md Jan 17 State officials pledged cooperation with Somerset county in presenting evidence to the grand jury next Tuesday in the George Armwood lynching case. State's Attorney Robins invited Attorney General Lane and summoned State police who fought the mob. Governor Ritchie criticized the delay and urged prompt witness attendance. Twenty two officers, including Capt Edward McK, were summoned to testify in Princess Anne.
