Shippensburg Man Reports Robbery
Alvin L. Staubs of Shippensburg Pennsylvania told police he was attacked and robbed of 118 dollars in a fall alley late Saturday night after leaving CIO headquarters on West Franklin Street. Youthful Soldier Struck By Car On Salem Avenue
Odell Dietrich fifteen from 400 block Salem avenue was injured when struck by an automobile in the 600 block of Salem. Patrolman Grayson Doornberger said the youth rode a sled in the street when hit by John C. Garman of 300 block South Cannon avenue. Garman said he braked but wheels slid into the sled. Dietrich was taken to Washington County Hospital for head cuts and chest injuries.
