Former Judge Pattison Dies in Cambridge Md
Former Chief Judge John R. Pattison of Maryland's First Judicial Circuit died unexpectedly after a stroke at age 80. He served 25 years on the bench, was appointed Chief Judge in 1909 for Dorchester Wicomico and Worcester counties, and retired in 1934, succeeded by Benjamin A. Johnson of Salisbury.
