Thieves broke into Augustus Ludwig's residence at 1895 Virginia avenue on Saturday evening by a cellar window. They took three quarts of old bonded whiskey, a wrist watch, a jewelry pin, clothing, a pocketbook with over $60, and other goods totaling several hundred dollars. The burglary was discovered when the family returned around 11 pm. Sheriff Kline and Deputy Deeds began an investigation.
