Roy B. Mowen, formerly with the Pennsylvania Railroad, became shipping clerk then manager of the Creasey Co on March 14 1925 and has since been titled vice-president. The firm leased a larger North Prospect street building with an annex, gaining 45000 square feet for expanded operations. Christmas bazaar leaves St Luke's bare of decorations
The St Luke's church bazaar in Grant's Pass proved too successful as organizers discovered the church decorations were sold off. One Dead In Ship Blast At Huntington Wharf
The steamer J. C. Rawn exploded at its North Huntington wharf on the Ohio River killing Jesa Plants of Point Pleasant and injuring five others including Captain W. M. Wright of Huntington. Missing are F. G. Gebhardt and Lloyd Mayes. Rescue crews searched for other casualties as repairs began and damage was estimated at $25,000 to $65,000 from the blast.

Oxygen Tent Saves Pneumonia Stricken Bird Dog Sally
Evansville bid reports L R Berryman used an at home oxygen tent to revive a pheumonia-stricken bird dog named Sally. He placed the dog in an airtight box with a glass cover and fed oxygen from a 110 cubic foot cylinder. A veterinarian said Sally had a good chance to recover.
