Maritta Perry Weds Harold Ryon Gray in First Christian Church
Maritta Sue Perry and Harold Ryon Gray, both of Annapolis, exchanged marriage vows at the First Christian Church here on Saturday November 23 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Wilbur Hogewell officiated. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry W Perry of Hagertown, wore a white satin Empire style gown with lace, a chapel train, and a demi bonnet veil. She carried white rosebuds and carnations. Matron of honor was Tammy Unger of Washington, D.C. Bridesmaids were Joanne Smith of Cumberland and Julie Graham of Baltimore, with Sylvia Flannagan of Martinsburg as junior bridesmaid. Best man was Alfred Gray, brother of the groom. ushers were David Rogers, Thomas Sullivan, and Gary Gray, all of Annapolis. The bride’s brother, David N. Perry, an enlisted man in Military Security, attended the ceremony. The couple plan teaching careers. Mrs Gray teaches English at Annapolis High School and Mr Gray teaches at Anne Arundel High School. A reception followed in the church Fellowship Hall. The Beaver Creek Homemakers will meet December 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Washington County Museum. Also notes on after-bath skin care and fashion items are included.
