Two Die Here After Drinking Bout in Bloom's Alley

Local Man Bags First County Deer Near Hancock
Russell D. Anderson of Mitchell Avenue bagged the first deer reported killed in Washington County at the opening of the six day season. A four point, 137 pound buck was shot in the Elberta orchards near Hancock. Dozens of hunters were afield across western Washington, Allegany, and Garrett counties as rain threatened.
