The Board of Public Works in Annapolis approved plans and awarded contracts totaling 576000 for five state institutions. Spring Grove Hospital in Catonsville will enlarge the criminal insane building for 30000, the House of Correction will gain a new ward, workshop, and electrical equipment for 180000, Springfield State Hospital will add a 165000 building for 120 more epileptic patients, and Frostburg State Normal School will get a gym auditorium and central heating for 70000.
