Seventeen Injured As Train Derailed
In Chatsworth New Jersey the Blue Comet train derailed after a washout from overflowing cranberry bogs in a heavy rain. Seventeen passengers sustained injuries as five derailed coaches and a baggage car rested on a single track. A locomotive and tender were also derailed.
