Local Men Going To Naval Trade School
Three local men recently enlisted in the navy have been accepted for the Navy trade school. William Thomas of 952 Virginia Avenue was accepted as an aviation machinist’s mate, Thomas H. Holliday of Boonsboro is headed to the Navy radio school, and Henry J. Harp of Chewsville will attend the radio school. The Navy recruiting office says all men enlisting now will be sent to a Naval training base immediately rather than placed in inactive reserve and recalled.
