Prediction of war and boom by Swedish statistician Enstrom
KHOLM April 10. Professor Axel F. Enstrom, director of Sweden's Engineer Academy and noted statistician, argues that cycles of good and bad times in business repeat every few years. He warned in 1914 of a 1918 price peak and now predicts prices will rise until 1927, followed by a downturn and possible war as food shortages and poor crops drive inflation and industrial boom.
