Four cadets at Valley Forge Military Academy died in the TWA airliner crash near Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Cadet Charles A. Basehoar, son of Dr and Mrs Lloyd M Basehoar, arrived home for Easter vacation. Cadet Baseboar's roommate William D. Diebolt planned to join the same trip but altered his plan at the last moment.
Senator Borah led in Wisconsin with 22 of 24 delegates selected by incomplete returns while Roosevelt held a strong presidential preference edge. Borah's unpledged slate trailed, and counts suggested Borah could narrow the delegate margin with final tallies. Roosevelt remained the two to one favorite over Borah in presidential choice.
The Hancock bridge between Maryland and West Virginia will reopen by the end of April after the WPA approved 15 000 for temporary repairs to the center span swept away in last month’s flood. Repair work to begin Saturday and finish in about ten days, easing river traffic and restoring Hancock’s commerce and access for local workers who had used boats during high water.
Ethiopian government reports seven Italian airplanes bombed Dessyye this morning. One bomber reportedly headed for Addis Ababa but returned north after reconnoitering over Scholameda. The report triggered a general exodus of noncombatants.

Attorney E. Stuart Bushong was named chairman of the Washington County Committee arranging a mammoth Roosevelt rally and dance at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore Easter Monday. More than 25,000 are expected to hear the President with 10,000 for the Baltimore dance. The Jefferson Birthday Ball will follow the rally with a cotillion led by Vice President Garner and Mrs. Garner. A parade from Camden Station will escort the President to the Armory starting at 7 pm.
The Orphans' Court will meet tomorrow instead of Good Friday as Friday becomes a legal holiday. Banks and the library will close. County Treasurer Harry E. Keedy's office in the Court House will be closed all day. Many other offices plan to close at noon.

A fire swept the north wing and damaged the center of Philosophy House at St John s Ecclesiastical Seminary in Boston. More than 150 students and five priests were forced to flee the building as flames consumed portions of the northern structure.
Fifteen Williamsport residents including Rockville grade crossing crash survivors from last April 11 are summoned by sheriffs to testify at Frederick trial Monday. Dennis McCusker fifty a Hancock native was fatally injured Monday in Seattle Washington. Death news reached his mother Mrs Ella McCusker and sister Mrs Roy Musson both of Hancock. He worked with steel industry labor unions in the Seattle area and was married. Telegram gave no accident details.
