A 26 acre celery farm three miles southwest of Seville is for rent. It offers various crop buildings and ample water on the property. Inquiries may be made of THEOBOIT SOMMERE on the farm or at Seville Route No. 2.
A mid winter meet ing of the Buckeye Press Association held at Dayton showcased the National Cash Register plant. Officers were re elected, Cedar Point named as the summer outing, and the tour highlighted welfare work including luncheons baths and rest rooms. The Dayton factory covers 140 acres with six pine buildings, employing about 5500 workers and producing 5000 machines monthly.
A guided tour of the National Cash Register Company plant reveals remarkable cleanliness and orderly operation. Attorney Baker guides the group and aids in making the visit enjoyable. The largest electric sign and mottoes adorn the facility. Dinner is provided at 15 cents for men and 5 cents for women with a 90 minute lunch period. A military band plays during meals and entertainment is offered free to employees.
The Circuit Court in Wooster rendered decisions after sessions last week. In the Mellinger versus Clement custody dispute the mother was awarded custody of the children and the father ordered to pay alimony and child care costs.
The court mandates care of two children at five dollars weekly from May 10, 1904 with interest to date and until age 21, totaling about $2,000. Mrs. Mellinger receives $2,000 alimony. Mellinger to pay about $500 court costs. Liens on a 100 acre farm secure the alimony and child support. The case, heard in the circuit court over three days, involved Ed S Wertz and Eugene Carlin for Mrs. Mellinger.
