The committee endorses Grover Cleveland and Roger Mills on tariffs per the St Louis convention, calling that the sole campaign issue and praising free trade.

Edwards G Armacost and bride arrived last Friday. Miss Etta Fagin visiting relatives. Pastor J H Middletown for M E church delayed by illness.
Camp Dennison hosts Harrison and Morton clubs while the town has not organized either yet. Social events at Leever's Hall on the 21st drew attendees from distant points with a pleasant evening. Mrs. Eveland and Mrs. McCammon attended a Maineville academy reunion. Dr. Evans and P. M. Stump with Fish Commissioner McCammon examined the Little Miami river to stock it with fish. Clermont Loan and Building Co may have funds to lend. Eliza Emery of Seneca Kansas visits. Tomas Bullock won a peach premium at Clermont county and Blanchester. Charles Potts of Guinea City is in delicate wealth. Beach harvest closed for the season. Steel Talbott will move to Carthage this fall. W. T. Keller plans winter in Marshallville Georgia. W. B. Eveland returns south soon.
