Four Men Charged in Clermont County Delinquency Case
Juvenile court sentenced three Cincinnati men Robert Chamberlain Jerry Simmons and Robert Dryer to 19 days in jail and fines of 29 each for contributing to the delinquency of two Clermont County girls aged 13 and 14. A fourth man Joe Godfrey received one year in the workhouse. All three also got one year suspended workhouse terms.

Clermont County three men were fined and given suspended jail terms after pleading guilty to making false unemployment benefit claims. Russell Riley 47 Batavia, 12 false certificates and 182 dollars. Charles Dumford 44 Batavia, 16 certificates and 431 dollars. James Nickell 45 near Batavia, seven certificates and 242 dollars. They applied for benefits while working and will repay all money, a Bureau spokesman said.
