Edward Wilson of Way Out Wo ing Inc Batavia Tombip and Wehrman Mé&R Recycling filed a joint notice with common pleas court and ODNR Sept 14 challenging Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director Joseph Sommer's 1988 decision to award a $70,000 recycling grant to the non profit Clermont Recycling. They say the grant would harm their businesses and cite reduced aluminum intake after Clermont Station opened. The hearing officer earlier recommended revoking the grant. Sommer upheld the grant though no state money has arrived. The case concerns the county and regional designation tied to Clermont Station serving Miami Twp and nearby areas.
