Louisville Corps of Engineers informs resident engineer James Houchin that bids for phase two of the East Fork Dam and Reservoir, costing about 35 million overall, will likely be advertised November 1. The phase covers main dam, saddle dam, spillway, with main earth fill dam around 1450 feet by 200 feet high, plus 2800 foot saddle dam. outlets nearing completion include a 14 by nine foot oval conduit. Cleanup bids will open soon to clear land for lake and easements.

Clermont County Board of Mental Retardation allocates 24000 dollars for the Sheltered Workshop for 1973 as it moves to a new building at the County Service Center.
