Farmer Killed by Runaway Team in Williamsburg
Adam Myers a 75 year old farmer driving a black team stopped at Jenkins Feed Mill in Williamsburg Monday afternoon. He tried to halt the runaway horses and wagon but was knocked down and run over, dying within minutes as the team halted against an electric light pole. Mrs Myers was visiting her son Elmer in Oakley at the time.
