Two public meetings held to explain the West Clermont School District special election drew small crowds last week. Glen Este High School drew about 30 attendees on Tuesday and Amelia High School saw roughly 12 people on Thursday.
The Sisters of Mercy will lease the county hospital property for 1.00 dollar per year with a 50 year term and a 50 year renewal option. A purchase option after 30 years is noted and the hospital will remain open to the public after purchase.
