Clermont Newspapers seeks feature profiles of remarkable women from Clermont County. Readers may nominate mothers, neighbors, seniors, career women, students, volunteers, and leaders shaping politics and business. Include story, name, phone, and a photo by October 10 to Batavia office.
The Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District and Clermont County Airport will offer air tours of the north or south half of the county. The flights cost $7 per person and run Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rain date of September 30.
The Clermont County Republican Club will hold its September meeting on September 27 at 8 p.m. in the CG&E Auditorium Batavia. County residents face 24 hours of freezing rain as a downpour damagi s the sewer system. Clermont County commissioners meet as the plant runs, with Ohio River water planned for use during operation to maintain supply.
