He traveled widely, spoke to groups, and served in multiple Masonic orders as well as Rotary. Survived by widow Edith, daughter Mrs. Hauss, son Ralph Jr., four grandchildren, and siblings.

South says he returned to the scene two minutes later with a Behel patrolman. Bond set at 200 dollars for leaving scene and 25 dollars for red light. Also ordered to grand jury are four men charged with taking a revolver from Bernice Byrd’s home in Moscow on Sept. 3: Boone Hensley Paul Gabbard Ben S Hensley and Earl T Conn. The Hensleys are related to the prosecuting witness.

Carl Rowe age 19 and William McCarry age 23, both of Route 1 Milord, are held in county jail as suspects in the Sunday burglary at Albers supermintris Milord. The pair surrendered to Milword police after their car struck a utility pole on US 50. They had been sought since Sunday afternoon. The driver Roe faces additional charges of reckless operation and no motor on his car.

Three musical instruments were recovered from East Fork on Sunday by Allen Campbell of Batavia while fishing at Perintown bridge near US 50. The items, a trombone and a trumpet, were turned over to Sheriff Clyde Dericks and identified by Cant. T Johnson of Lebanon police. Deputy Sheriff Earl Moore had previously found a clarinet at the same location. The instruments are believed to be stolen from Lebanon High School.
