River's Victim Edwin Black Drowns at Ohio River
Edwin Black, 12, of Hyde Park formerly Amelia, went into the Ohio river to swim last Wednesday. Not knowing the bed, he ventured beyond his depth and drowned as companions could not help him. His body was recovered a few hours later and funeral services will be held Friday. Clermont friends extend sympathy to his parents.

Each program was well rendered and pleasing. afternoon shows drew liberal crowds while evenings attracted more men. Williamsburg woman shoots Hillsboro man in color affray
Stella Gales of Williamsburg shoots H McGinnis of Hillsboro in an incident described as a shooting affray. Miami Township Woman Takes Own Life at 60
Mrs Henry Klattie of Miami township aged 60 ends long illness by hanging herself in an orchard near home. She left the house on the night of August 31 and was found by her son the next morning hanging from a apple tree limb. She died hours before a doctor arrived and was buried from Milford Universalist church on Thursday. The family has community sympathy.
