Batavia Ohio dated October 29 1902 notes the $6 000 a year auditor and lists local ads for flour lard cans salt and prices at Rapp Bros. mentions visitors Mrs Sallie Flake Mrs Wayland Kennedy and families and notes Foley's Honey and Tar cough remedy sold by Dr John Bunn & Son. A church society dinner at Greenberry chapel election day November 4 and Mrs Snider's store Owensville millinery lines are advertised.
The ladies of the M. KE Guild will serve dinner at the home of Mr and Mrs Allen Glancy Thursday October 30. Everyone will be warmly welcomed. Also mentions agents selling Foley kidney cures and local auction plans by W Rufus Walker. Other items note examinations, visitors, and a church event featuring Louise King Walte and local orchestra.
A Sunday sermon at the Presbyterian church highlighted by organ music and flowers with The Last Rose of Summer performed during offertory. Notices include upcoming campaign itineraries for Dr. J. J. Werner and Clarence N. Young, and a profile of John B. Simmons a familiar county clerk candidate and G A R member.
The Clermont County Democrat alias The Weekly Williams claims Penn Williams drew over $2,000 more than entitled as county auditor.
