County and Batavia Man Clash Over 100-Foot Easement
Louis H. Moore of Batavia and the county board of commissioners dispute a proposed 100 ft easement for a sewer line along Hartman Lane. An out of court deal in 1972 required maintenance of Hartman Lane and compensation for damages but later questions arose about private property use and court actions. Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Jones said no criminal violations have been found in the Clerco Jones matter based on information from the past two months.
