Clermont GOP screens candidates for county commissioner seat
The Clermont County Republican Executive Committee meets Friday at Miami Township Hall to screen candidates to replace the late Dale Romohr. Fire set at Bethel Middle School alarms police and fire officials
A vandal set a series of fires at Bethel Middle School, with one incident Oct 11 and others Oct 17. The security system alerted Bethel Police around 2:15 am Oct 17, three rooms had broken windows, minor fires were found, and Bethel Tate Fire Department arrived to control flames in the choral room, library, and a custodial room. Estimated damage ranged from $5,000 to $10,000.

Funeral services for Commissioner Dale F. Romohr honored his life in a brief Monday service.
